As we conclude another rewarding term at St Euphemia College, we reflect with gratitude on the many opportunities our students have embraced to grow in faith, learning and community spirit. From celebrating Jersey Day and the Secondary Athletics Carnival to recognising outstanding sporting achievements and preparing to honour the Feast Day of our patron saint, St Euphemia, our students have continued to demonstrate kindness, resilience and a commitment to excellence. We wish all of our families a safe and restful holiday break and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting semester
Term 2 Week 8
This week at St Euphemia College, we celebrate a term of growth, achievement and community spirit as we approach the Semester One break. From recognising the dedication of our students and staff, to preparing for the Secondary Athletics Carnival, Parent Teacher Interviews and important academic milestones, there is much to be proud of across our College. We also reflect on the strength of our faith and values through opportunities for worship, service, intercultural understanding and personal growth, as we continue working together to ensure every child shines.
Term 2 Week 7
This week at St Euphemia College, we have continued to foster a culture where every student feels safe, valued and supported in their learning. Through calm and purposeful classrooms, engaging wellbeing programs, professional learning for staff, and opportunities in sport, faith and leadership, our students have demonstrated respect, resilience and a commitment to personal growth. As we move through the final weeks of term, we thank our families for their ongoing partnership in helping us create an environment where every child can thrive and shine.
Term 2 Week 6
This week, our St Euphemia College community has come together with faith, resilience and unity during a period of transition. As we acknowledge the departure of Mrs Penny Pachos and thank her for her contribution to the College over the past three years, we remain committed to supporting one another and continuing the strong sense of community that defines St Euphemia College. Alongside this, students have continued to engage in meaningful learning, prayer, creative pursuits and sporting opportunities, demonstrating the values of compassion, perseverance and growth that underpin our College community.
Term 2 Week 5
This week at St Euphemia College, our students continued to demonstrate pride, leadership and community spirit through a range of meaningful learning experiences and commemorative events. From honouring the legacy of the Battle of Crete at Martin Place to engaging in academic, sporting and wellbeing initiatives across the College, students embraced opportunities to grow in character, confidence and faith. As we prepare for the upcoming Primary Athletics Carnival, we look forward to another week of teamwork, participation and school spirit across our community.
Term 2 Week 4
This week at St Euphemia College, our community reflected on the enduring legacy of the Battle of Crete as we welcomed distinguished guests from Greece and honoured the courage, resilience, and unity shared between the Greek and Australian people. Alongside these meaningful commemorations, students across the College continued to shine through leadership opportunities, academic growth, sporting achievements, and engaging learning experiences that strengthen both character and community spirit.
Term 2 Week 3
This week, St Euphemia College proudly celebrated the successful hosting of GOAANSE 2026, welcoming Greek Orthodox schools from across Australia for a week of faith, friendship, culture, and competition. Beyond the sporting achievements and performances, the event highlighted the strong sense of unity and shared identity within our Greek Orthodox school community. Across the College, students also continued to demonstrate growth in character and learning, with meaningful classroom experiences focused on leadership, humility, and authentic relationships.
Term 2 Week 2
Week 2 has been filled with excitement and strong community spirit at St Euphemia College, as preparations continue for the upcoming GOAANSE event. From meaningful ANZAC Day reflections to engaging learning experiences across all year levels, our students have demonstrated pride, enthusiasm, and a commitment to growth. With opportunities in sport, co-curricular activities, and upcoming Mother’s Day celebrations, the term continues to build momentum in both learning and connection.
Term 2 Week 1
Welcome back to Term 2 at St Euphemia College. It has been wonderful to see students return with enthusiasm following the Easter break, as we begin the term grounded in faith, reflection, and renewal. From meaningful ANZAC Day learning and reflections to engaging classroom experiences and upcoming whole-school events, the term is already off to a strong and purposeful start, with a continued focus on growth, community, and connection.
