The first few years of school are a critical time for learning literacy and numeracy skills. We know that learning these skills early can limit the impact of disadvantage and improve student performance in the later years of school. At St Euphemia College, we prioritise a strong literacy and numeracy foundation through balanced, systematic, and evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning so that the learning needs of every student are addressed.
