Primary School

Prep

The Prep Program is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment, where students are encouraged to develop their interests and curiosity about their world. Focusing on play-based learning at this stage, Prep is a period of vibrant imagination, rapid skill development and an opportunity to develop social skills for school life.
Our program integrates creative play with teacher planned activities that focus on developing communication, early numeracy and literacy skills and the exploration of scientific concepts. This approach nurtures the natural curiosity of each child, encouraging them to investigate and approach ideas in an inquisitive manner, that prepares them for Kindergarten.
The students enjoy the full benefit of being part of the St Euphemia school community and the use of its educational facilities. While each day is unique, a structured daily routine provides familiarity and a sense of belonging for each child. Our program is designed to ensure that students attending three or five days
experience similar opportunities.
